Role Distribution
Each player will have a role to play
- •Civilians: are the majority and must work together to find the maffia. They must ask questions and observe each other to identify the maffia.
- •Nurses: can protect one player from being eliminated by the maffia each round. They must choose wisely to keep the civilians safe.
- •Detectives: can investigate one player each round to determine if they are the maffia. They must use this information to help the civilians identify the maffia.
- •Storyteller: guides the game, narrating events and ensuring the rules are followed. They help create an engaging atmosphere for all players.
- •Maffia: is trying to infiltrate the group and must blend in with the civilians while trying to eliminate them.
Gameplay
1. Each rounds starts with everyone sleeping (close your eyes) while the storyteller will be awake and guide the game
2. The storyteller will first tell the maffia to wake up and choose a player to eliminate. Then the maffia goes back to sleep.
3. Then the nurse wakes up and chooses a player to protect. After that, the nurse goes back to sleep.
4. At last, the detective wakes up and chooses a player to investigate. After choosing a players, the storyteller will tell the detective if the player is the maffia or not by giving a thumbs up or down. Then the detective goes back to sleep.
5. Finally, everyone wakes up and the storyteller describes what happened during the round
6. Everyone can then discuss who they think the maffia is and the detective can share any information they found out during their investigation
7. When the discussion is over, the storyteller can stop the game if they suspect someone is the maffia. The accused player then gets a chance to defend themselves before a vote is called
- •Pay attention to how players respond to questions.
- •When asking a question, don't reveal too much information.
- •Don't be afraid to accuse someone if you have evidence.
Conclusion
